Mild climate weather, reasonable prices, and lots of fun things to do with fellow winter Texans. Activities in the area include golfing, birding, shopping, beach-combing or just relaxing. Each year from October through March, thousands of visitors from northern states and Canada spend time in Texas and many of those in Corpus Christi. Welcome to the friendly state! Don’t be surprise to see Texans wave at you or just share a friendly welcoming Texas smile.

An ideal RV long-term stay in South Texas or Corpus Christi should include a trip to Padre Palms RV Park. We are open throughout the year but we thrive during the winter and offer activities to keep you active and enjoying your stay.  Padre Palms RV loves our winter residents and plan to schedule Happy Hours, Socials, Pot-Luck Dinners, Game Nights and much more. We opened our gates in early 2023 so all are facilities are brand new and are waiting for your arrival. We have the newest WIFI and Cable to keep you connected.

South Texas Weather The forecast is “sunny” all year round. Average year round temperatures of about 72 degrees, sunny days and breezy nights are awaiting you. Temperature average in January is 56.2 degrees and February is 58.8 degrees. Is that beach-combing weather or golfing weather or both?


Calling all birders!


For more than a decade, Corpus Christi has celebrated its designation as the “Birdiest City in North America.” Thousands of people flock here every year to see the birds that pay it a visit as they migrate north and south, as well as those who call Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend home.  It is an unexpected gem and a bird lovers paradise.
