Texas State Aquarium

The Texas State Aquarium is the largest aquarium in Texas, and one of the largest aquariums in the United States. It is the perfect platform for people and families to learn, bond and discover together. The goal of the Texas State Aquarium is to engage people with animals, inspire appreciation for our seas, and support wildlife conservation. They offer Wildlife Presentation throughout the day of different animals including dolphins, sea turtles, sharks, and stingrays, as well as exhibits ranging from Coral Reefs and Swamps, to Jungle environments.

USS Lexingtion

The USS Lexington was commissioned in 1943, and set more records than any other Essex Class carrier in the history of naval aviation. During World War II, the carrier participated in nearly every major operation in the Pacific Theater. The Japanese reported Lexington had sunk no less than four times, yet, each time she returned to fight again, leading the propagandist Tokyo Rose to nickname her “The Blue Ghost.” Since 1992, the carrier has been open as a museum to instill pride and patriotism in the public, particularly the youth, through displays, ceremonies and educational programs that emphasize the heroism and sacrifice of those who have served the nation in the Navy and the Marine Corps.

Whataburger Field

Whataburger Field is a minor league baseball stadium home to the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros. Whataburger Field features 5,679 fixed seats, 19 luxury suites and two outfield berm areas that are able to accommodate approximately 2,000 people. It hosts dozens of events each year, including bike rides, races and walks, street festivals, concerts and other sporting events.

Museum of Science & History

The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History was opened to present the story of the cultural crossroads of the the New World. It provides education beyond the classroom to immerse children of all ages into real-world challenges and exploration. Some of the exhibits include the H-E-B Science Center, Prehistoric Predators & Prey, Corpus Christi History, Cultural Encounters, and Coastal Ecology.

Art Museum

The Art Museum of South Texas works to advance the awareness, knowledge, appreciation and enjoyment of the visual arts for residents and visitors of South Texas. They offer a variety of programs which include classes, lectures, films, performances and other activities which inspire community interest in the visual arts.

Concrete Street Amphitheater

Concrete Street Amphitheater is Corpus Christi's biggest outdoor music and festival venue. It has hosted events and concerts throughtout the years from artists such as Billy Idol, Randy Rodgers, ZZ Top, Weezer, Kevin Gates and The Migos. Concrete Street has been awarded Caller Times' "Best of the Best Live Music Venue" for the last 10 years.

Parks

Corpus Christi is home to a total of 187 parks with amenities ranging from basketball courts and baseball fields, to playgrounds, disc golf courses and bike trails.
